"International Watermedia XVI" call for entries
-- The Pikes Peak Watercolor Society announces a call to artists for "International Watermedia XVI", held August 15 to October 17, 2009 at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center, Pueblo, Colorado. Awards: $1000, $750 and $250 cash, plus gift certificates and merchandise. Juror: Thomas J. Owen, A.W.S., N.W.S. The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age or older. Paintings must be predominantly watermedia on paper, clay board, Yupo, illustration board, or watercolor canvas. $35 for up to 3 works. $10 discount with PPWS membership. Deadline: May 15, 2009.
